Canceled flight, what is the impact on my Koala cancellation service ?

Unfortunately, it can happen that one of your flights is canceled by the airline. In this situation, the airline is supposed to offer you new solutions to take part in your trip.

There are then two hypotheses, depending on your choices:

Option 1 : refuse the new propositions : 

If you decline the rerouting flights offered by the airline, and no solution is found for you to leave, you are eligible for a full refund of your airline tickets by the airline. On the other hand, the form of reimbursement may vary, especially with the period of covid-19 that we are living (in cash form, but also often in the form of a nominative asset strictly linked to your identity).

In this situation, your reservation will be canceled and therefore will not be able to use our Cancellation service Ulysse Flex, in partnership with Koala.

Option 2 : accept the new propositions :

If you accept one of the proposals, the flights covered by our service will be updated. Please note, however, that you can cancel your reservation up to 2 days before the original departure of your reservation.

For example, if you have a scheduled departure on January 15 but which is ultimately postponed to January 16, you will only be able to cancel your reservation until January 13 (i.e. 2 days before the original departure of your reservation).
